Let me tell you a little about this position and our company.
 
Bradz is an Aveda Concept Salon. This means we use and recommend only Aveda products and services.

We are a non-smoking company. We are a drug-free company with zero tolerance.
 
Bradz has been in business for 25 years and has continued to grow year after year.  

Our company has produced an annual revenue of over a million dollars a year for more than 14 years. We staff about 20 employees and most earn around $40K per year. Several make more. 

All service providers work a 40-hour work week. We have no part-time stylist positions. Our regular company hours are Monday through Friday from 10-7, and Saturday from 10-4.
 
Our entire company is on a salary-plus-bonus pay program. Starting salary is based on a 40-hour week, including a 1-hour meeting and 1-hour class each week. This starting salary ranges from $23-25K per year, depending on level of experience. The bonus is 20% of our monthly profits, paid monthly. (Usually between $100-$200 additional income per month.)
 
We do allow tipping; most earn another $10k per year in extra income. This is all reported income and all taxes are paid.
 
Your program begins as a New Talent Stylist. This means our standard $65 haircut has been reduced to $45. We are clear — this is not a $45 haircut. This is a full 1-hour experience, including consultation, scalp massage, product recommendation, hand massage, blow dry with instruction, and makeup touchup.  All men also receive a hot towel face treatment and additional final rinse and blow dry.

You will be seeing 6 to 8 guests per day and your job is create a relationship so that they request YOU next time. Rebooking will help this happen. After 6-9 months and establishing a 50% request rate, their cut price will change from $45 to $65. Your job will be to keep them at the new price. When that happens, your pay will increase to reflect your success.

Our education program combines, paid, weekly in-salon classes and continues outside Aveda Education.
 
Our color department is "specialized" rather than "departmentalized.” If you choose color, we pay for color classes and ask that you maintain 75% of your business in color only. If you choose cutting, we focus your education on cutting classes. Both areas of our company are paid equally. We want your choice to be based on passion rather than money.
 
Because of the structure of our company, a strong work ethic and a total team attitude is essential.
